Wilmington, Del.-based ChristianaCare tapped two physician leaders to helm its emergency medicine and pediatric service lines, according to a May 5 news release shared with Becker’s.
Lauren Cooksey, MD, was named the department chair and physician executive of emergency medicine, and Megan Mickley, MD, was named department chair and physician executive of the pediatric service line. Since 2024, Dr. Cooksey and Dr. Mickley have held these positions on an interim basis.
ChristianaCare operates three hospitals, a freestanding emergency department, and several urgent care centers, primary care and outpatient care facilities. It also provides home health care and has a gene editing institute.
