Louisville, Ky.-based ScionHealth named Doug Shirley CFO April 8.
Mr. Shirley has more than 25 years in healthcare finance and revenue cycle, previously serving as the executive vice president and CFO of PathGroup. He has also spent time as the national group and head of enterprise revenue cycle management at Surgery Partners, an ASC company, and CFO of Camden, N.J.-based Cooper Health System.
ScionHealth CEO Rob Jay said the organization conducted an “extensive search” for a new CFO and selected Mr. Shirley for his track record in driving financial improvement and strategic alignment.
