Charlottesville, Va.-based UVA Health has named Stephanie Schnittger its new CFO.
Ms. Schnittger will begin the role July 7, according to a May 15 UVA Health news release. She joins the system from Annapolis, Md.-based Luminis Health, where she served as CFO since April 2024.
She previously served as senior vice president and CFO of corporate finance for Norfolk, Va.-based Sentara Health and spent more than 20 years at Falls Church, Va.-based Inova Health System, where her roles included senior vice president for corporate finance and interim CFO.
“Stephanie brings great energy and talent, along with a wealth of experience in healthcare finance, as she becomes our next chief financial officer,” UVA Health’s Acting Vice President for Health Affairs Mitchell Rosner, MD, said in the release. “She will ensure we continue to have the strong financial base we need to carry out our missions of providing the highest-quality patient care, making research discoveries that improve the human condition, training the next generation of healthcare workers, and serving our communities.”
